Reality factor

I really liked this movie and I liked the actors/actresses. Jenna Elfman was excellent and Randall Batinkoff I've liked since his first movie with Molly Ringwald.
However...one thing really got to me all the way through the movie and that was how good a shape his body was in when he came out of the coma. Even if they had moved his limbs and exercised his body to keep a range of motion, he would have been very thin or with lousy muscle tone. Granted he looked GOOD! But, not realistic. And to come out of a coma and sit up? Is that even possible.
Guess I've watched too many movies with men around, they always are bringing up this reality factor!

Even though I loved this movie, I was disturbed by the same thing. I know some time passed over the course of the movie, but no way would he have that much tone. Lovely body by the way. Lovely, expressive face. Also, how could he do anything if he couldn't feel anything? Ever tried to talk with your mouth frozen (as he says he felt)?

It's not a perfect movie, but it showed and inspired real emotion.

I did notice that when he came to, at least his voice was raw, as it should have been, having not used it for 2 yrs.

As for the muscle tone, it looks like the actor did not go out of his way to change physically for the movie. What a shame, it could have been that much better. Now it just looks like any movie of the week.

What bothered me was how much he touched things - when he's looking at the photos of his son, and crying, he reaches up and wipes his nose (how did he know it needed it?). And never mind how he was able to have sex without feeling it (never mind - I guess that's a special ability men have)
