There is noooooo need to name this movie snow, it barely even snows in the movie, and snow has NOTHING to do with ANYTHING in this movie... I mean... What the Heck!?!?!?

The title made sense in an earlier draft due to a plot device in the story, but that device was axed due to budgetary constraints. And at that point, the studio didn't want to change the title - even though it no longer made sense.

"Santa" uses the last name of SNOWden in the movie so i think after the other plot point was taken out they needed to put it in some how so they had "Santa" mkae a point of him saying his last name was Snowden

But I felt there was enough "snow" to justify such a "cool" name. Otherwise they would've titled it something like, "Reindeer Rescue from the Zoo," or "Save the Reindeer from Buckshot." I mean there was snow blowing in from the "mirror portals," there was plenty of snow at the NP and Nick's last name was Snowden.
