Considering this film likes to crowbar in cameos from British comedians (Stephen Merchant, David Walliams, Simon Day, Peter Serafinowicz's voice etc), I am convinced the Tortoise and the Hare must be famous people too.

Anybody have any idea who they might be, or who voiced them? It's at the start of the race, and the Tortoise says "Why do I always have to be the tortoise?" to which the Hare replies "Because you lost the bet." It's such a bizarre, pointless moment it has to be there purely for people to spot and say "Hey, wasn't that thingy?"

Nah if you listen to the commentary they mention the tortois and hare in the race for an obvious joke but don't mention any celebrity cameos actually being them, so no i don't think so.
