funnier than hot fuzz?

I thought it wasn't as funny but close. What do you guys think?

Give her hell for us, Peeves.

I thought it was funnier than Hot Fuzz but then I'm struggling to think a film that wasn't funnier than Hot Fuzz.

I thought that Hot Fuzz was the worst attempt at a comedy ever to come out of Britain (although it lost out on the world title to "Scary Movie")

reply

As a british person Run Fat Boy Run was not all that funny. Hot Fuzz was by far the best british comedy of all time.

The best films are made in an intelligent format.

"two angry men and an *beep* load of cutlery"

Hot Fuzz was cliche... ON PURPOSE. Did you not get the point of the entire film?

I liked Hot Fuzz better, because it had more of a darker humor,I loved when the priest pulled out the guns, but this movie was realy good too.

reply

I thought they both pretty much sucked, can't remember laughing during either rmovie. Big Nothing was way better than either of them.

reply

I did like this movie, but Hot Fuzz blew it out of the water in my book.

I thought it was just a notch below "Hot Fuzz," which is saying quite a bit. Simon Pegg is hilarious!

reply

Am I making up the part where these movies had different writers, directors and blah blah blah?
You can't really compare them just because Pegg is in both. But, that is just my opinion and I could be making this up.

reply

You're not imagining it, but it is just your opinion. Mine opinion is people have the right to compare different films with the same star, regardless of who's writing and directing.

reply

Not funnier, but not bad. I enjoyed it a lot, but LOVED Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead.

Touche' Warped.

I thought this was funny for a completely different reason than HF though. SotD was good, but I didnt' like the ending. I liked that this was a more 'uplifting' flick.

reply

Thanks, enragedferret! I hope I didn't come off as (gasp) rude.

"Run Fatboy Run" was definitely was more uplifting than "Hot Fuzz" and certainly "Shaun of the Dead." I loved all three, but Simon didn't have as strong a co-star as Nick Frost this time around.

reply

Don't worry Warped, you most definitely didn't sound rude and I definitely agree with that last statement.
