Little Britain reference?

Did anyone else pick up on the possible reference to one of David Walliam's Little Britain characters? When he's in the bakery asking for various animal shaped things it tottaly reminded me of the character who goes into a toy shop and asks specifically for a game for 4-8 year olds (or something like that) and isn't happy with what he's given so he says 'I'll wait' and just stays there...

anyone??

I thought of that straight away too

Well it's not so much ripping it off given it is Walliams in the film. More like an in-joke methinks

Yeah I thought it was awesome.

David Walliams is in the film playing a character very similar to Mr.Man from series one and 2 of little britain.

I didn't even THINK of that character reference! The only thing I could think was "HOMG! DAVID WALLIAMS! I LOVE THAT GUY! I LOVE LITTLE BRITAIN! HOMG!" ... and then I think I foamed at the mouth a little. xD
I'm a huge Little Britain fan.
The vegetarian thing really got me laughing, though.

I literally ROFLed at that scene. The only reason Walliams was in the movie and it was perfect, obviously someone connected with the film is a huge Little Britain fan. :D

Shortly after trying to buy rabbit-shaped gingerbread, he probably went to see if he could get a Pirate Memory Game.

I think that's probably because David Walliams in a similar way to the likes of Simon Pegg, Ricky Gervais, Nick Frost and Hugh Grant is not a very versatile actor so each of his characters portrays similarities to a character who he's played previously.
