That's what the UK calls a fat boy?
If Simon Pegg's character is what they call a fatboy in the U.K., I should scratch any plans to visit cuz they'll throw me in a zoo.

shareHe was certainly in better shape than most Americans I've seen lately. Here it would simply be called "Run, Fitboy, Run," and it wouldn't have the same punch.
shareI thought Fatboy was in Eastenders!
It's that man again!!
Being fat is definitely more socially acceptable in the US than Europe.
Our women are much thinner than our American cousins.
Our men are a far bit slimmer too.
For example The average American male is 33 pounds heavier than the average Frenchmen.
If you were to gain 33 pounds I'm sure you would consider yourself fat compared to your peers.
So whilst the weight might not seem a lot to Americans, it would be fair to call him fat in the UK.
No he's not fat- it's just the way whit insults him when they're running.
He's slightly podgy and a bit unfit in the beginning.
