good script - bad director

this is a perfect example that a good director can't make a good movie from a bad script but a bad director can take a good script and make a bad movie. in this case it was a good script with funny dialogue and opportunity for some wacky characters but the director just didn't bring it together. i noticed the director/writer didn't direct either of the meet the... movies which were great. likely they were great because someone else directed. someone him to stick to writing.

I kinda feel the same that you're saying.

The film has a lot of potential, funny lines, funny scenes, situations but there is just something that missing
to make it work.

If its the direction, i would like to know what is it exactly that the director doing wrong?

What a ridiculous post! I loved the film and thought it was full of wonderful performances. I'm sure those who didn't like it wouldn't have liked it on paper either. How you could possibly say you liked the script but not the direction..sounds more like you have some personal vendetta against the director. Did he cut you off driving or something?
