I'm from Pekin, Illinois and thought it was HILARIOUS to hear our name in this movie. I was actually just channel surfing and watched a bit of it. I was just in time to hear the parents cry for their poor destroyed Pekin, Illinois. Also.... there are no trailer parks... but plenty of meth heads and burnt outs.

Im from South Pekin :) ... But I do know of 2 places in Pekin where there are some trailers actually lol.. I thought it was really cool they mentioned Pekin in the movie... I just love Neve Campbell and Kathy Bates... :)

I too am from Pekin and know of 2 places also with trailers.
One is on N. 8th right by the Casey's .... more of a mobile home park, not really trashy and the other is just a few block before it. Across the street from the 8th street plaza and about a road back. It's only like 3 or 4 trailers I think, not really a trailer park and man, those things are trashy.
But with one nicer one and one trashy one thats hidden, that's hardly all Pekin is.
Especially with a Country Club and 4 golf courses here.
