You know, it's funny, I was just watching this film and thought to myself that it is "What About Bob?" -- except badly done and with less-interesting and less-sympathetic characters.

I love this film and don't see all that many similarities to What About Bob, other than the fact he's a psychologist with a self help book. The characters and situations are way different.

4)are humiliated on national TV while pushing their books by the antagonists
5)driven to a mental breakdown
6)believed irrational by family members concerning their treatment of the antagonists
B)Both Antagonists are
1)thrust upon the main character
2)are socially inept and unaware of their destructive behavior concerning the main character
3)maliciously assisted by a secondary character to remain in the life of the main character as to cause chaos
In the end of the film both protagonist and antagonist are inseparable(for good or bad)from each others lives.
These are a few off the top of my head similarities. I haven't actually done a side by side study.
Am I putting forth that each movie does not have it's own nuances? No. Nor am I saying the idea was plagiarized. But the similarities are there.
