I'm Almost Afraid To Ask This But....

....Why wasn't there any toilet paper in the restroom when he had his upset stomach episode? I realize that it could have been like that by accident (as that's happened to me in a public restroom in America), but that scene from the movie almost implied that it was normal not to have toilet tissue in the restroom. I'm not trying to be a wisea$$ or ignorant, but I just wondered about that scene.
