My neighbor's car alarm

I've yet to even watch this film, but just saw what it was about and thought, "I can totally understand!" My new neighbor's alarm goes off all the time. When he comes home it even goes off a little, not just the "beep" of some when you lock the door. I have a toddler so it annoys me that this happens so often when my child is in bed. He's even locked his keys in the car with it going off! What is the matter with this guy?! This is definitely not an occasional thing or one night of a big party that's noisy, kind of thing. I'm not sure what to say because I've found in the past that often people who do things like this without regard for others do not take kindly to even a very kind request to stop. It makes me think of some feuding neighbors I saw on something like Dr. Phil where the neighbor had called the police to report a noise violation because some boys were continually playing basketball late at night. While I understood the parents' opinion on what he did I could also understand why he did it, too, unfortunately. Ask someone to stop something like that and you could end up with your tires slashed. It's such a shame the world it this way.

I really feel for you. Yeah, people who create such issues are generally not open to getting feedback about it from others.

Like when someone doesn't look and pulls out in front of you despite you having the right of way - you honk your horn at them and they flip you off rather than give some apologetic gesture.

I'd completely forgotten about this post until you replied. Things got worse before they got better with new neighbors who were extremely noisy. Also, dogs. We own some rental property and haven't rented to anyone with pets, but after our experience with the dogs we've decided we won't rent to anyone with pets. Saves trouble for us all the way around.
