Gretchen Mol???

Is the character Marion Cotillard portrays in this film really named Gretchen Mol?? I know Ferrara has a penchant for being somewhat off-kilter,but this would really take the cake. It's not like Gretchen Mol is a very common name.

For those unaware,Gretchen Mol is a somewhat known American actress who portrays pin-up legend Bettie Page in a film coming out later this year. A few reviews I skimmed through mentioned the character's name was Gretchen but no mention of the last name.

Of course I realize this is probably someone idea of a joke(For example,Roger Ebert once being listed at the cowriter for Charlie Kaufman's new film).

since ferrara wrote the script, it's probably true.
he was one of the first filmmakers to actively use mol in his films and jumpstart her career. they may have or had some sort of relationship [familial, patron, romantic, or otherwise] in the past that would produce this sort of homage. it's rare, but not impossible. ferrara is a very reflexive filmmaker.
