Frits should go to jail...

...say American laws. Voyeurism is becoming a jail-punished crime, so if Frits did it today in USA he wouldn't get his ear wounded (as it is still illegal), but would be sent to prison instead (where probably ear is not the only part of his body that would be hurt).

Now when I remember so many movies that show such behaving (like Före stormen, Alla älskar Alice, Markus og Diana, Mitt liv som Hund, Malizia and so many others) I wonder if they will be censored from now on, because I don't remember that in any of them this behaving has been equaled to bank robbery, environment contamination, fiscal fraud or sending army to kill people in foreign country (oh, sorry, the last one doesn't seem to be proclaimed a criminal activity).

I agree. However, Danish movies show big fascination with America during last decade. As if they were made for American market. Or are they trying to make Denmark look more like America?

Some are made in English. Some have American names of characters. Some are completely American style. And here Frits is fascinated by an American politician.

During last decades of 20th century Denmark was one among the countries whose cinematography was a pleasure and a relief from American domination, attitudes, brainwashing. I am afraid that the number of these countries is troublesome decreasing.

MLK was not a politician. Other than that I find little to argue.
Hollywood does put out a lot of trash; that's why I like Italian, Spanish, Polish, Czech, Swedish, Danish and Russian movies and watch them frequently. (Subtitles help). Occasionally even a french movie, although like everything else french, they are overrated.

MLK was not a professional politician. But would you say that his work wasn't politics?

A man who sings in public, no matter if he does it for money or not, and no matter if he has music education, is a musician.

As for your choice of countries I mostly agree (maybe I'd add Norwegian, even Romanian though they're hard to find). However, I find Spanish movies overrated while I'm impressed by French ability to make a movie about nothing at all, use half of the footage to show ordinary everyday things that often aren't important to the plot at all, and still make it looking like art in the way which doesn't make you feel that someone's stolen 90 minutes of your life.
