ok i go rent a movie,, and it turns out its so bad i cant tell if its a College project or a B- movie so B its more like Z , as in Zzzzz " Horse Creek Entertainment? " ? more like HORSE SHIET entertainment,, turned it off after 7 min, allmost vomited =( some people think its charming with low budget stuff filmed with your buddys in the feature roles , and made by a hand held camera,, many of us dont.

I remember reading this script when I worked for a production company in Los Angeles in the late 90s. Man, the flick was really bad. But the screenplay without being tainted by the film, was pretty damn solid. I remember there was an issue with adding nudity and lesbians to it because the company was looking for more erotic thrillers because it was trying to close a 3-pic deal with Shannon Tweed. Yeah, I know, I'm not selling it much. All Mazo's script needed was a visionary director to punch up the quirkier cues which could (and did) get easily botched. But the company I worked for wasn't into art or finding the next hotshot arthouse director.

You wonder why movies get greenlit? Sometimes the base project sounds and reads interestingly. And it was written with decent prose and dialogue from what I remember. Too bad a horrible film was left in its wake.
