In the flashback scene, Max tells Henry that he has to stay in the car. Henry says "Saul's dad takes him to the track," and Max says "Saul's dad is a degenerate gambler."

Is it just a coincidence that The Rabbi's assistant / thug is named Saul, and is close to the same age as Slevin? It seems possible that it could be the same Saul, since The Rabbi is also heavily involved in gambling...
