This is a great film

I got payed to watch this movie and discuss it in a group situation with others for an hour..It is an excellent film! I will have to see it when it comes out to see how they have changed it (if at all?)
A great psychological thriller

You saw the movie? Can you say something about the character Susan Mueller, who was played by Kate Maberly? Was it an important part (with lots of screen time) or rather just some short scenes and a supporting role? Have you any idea, when the movie will be released?

Could you compare the movie to some other thrillers, to give me an idea, what to expect?

reply

Hi - it wasn't an important part...
(I think she was a girlfriend at school of the main character).

Eddie Redmayne, Toni Collette, Tom Sturridge and Richard Roxburgh were the main four.

The film is currently in sound post. The edit shown for the test screening was an early cut with all the CG elements roughly blocked in the avoid green screen distractions.

If you've seen the film, can you tell if they included those graphic scenes
in the greenhouse? I was there for some of the days. Send me a private message if you wish.

Hi sorry for replying so late - I'm relying on shaky memory now -
I think it was just under 2 hours.
It looked very decent - there was no green screen visible at all. From memory the sound had to be tweaked (volume adjustments, noise filtering etc).
Of the 6 other guys who discussed the movie with me, 4 thought it was fantastic. The other two at worst thought it was decent and "much better than a lot of the other crap around".
Criticisms were
- that the outcome was a little predictable
- the irrelevancy of a few of the scenes in the movie.
- a few other minor things that I won't mention or it'll ruin the movie for you.

Really? Who 'payed' you?

reply

I got 'payed' 'cash' by somebody interested in what people from different demographics had to say about the film, whether they'd tell their friends to see it etc.
Now why don't you "go away" you loser.

reply

You might consider using spell check before you post. "Payed"? It's paid, Lance.
It's spelled incorrectly in not one post, but two and you have the audacity to call the OP a loser. At least you spelled that correctly.
Thanks for the laugh.
