Me too, solid indie film! Glad to see it is getting released on Monday the 26th. I've read some great reviews and it does not dissapoint

I guess it wasn't that bad of a movie but it was really really strange and very disturbing. I wouldn't watch it again I know that much. I wasn't really expecting much from this film either.

yeah, I just wish more people would watch it. This film deserves more attention.

I love it too! Nifty little movie. Leighton's so naturally gorgeous and everyone gave solid performances and were absolutely believable in their roles.

I fell in love with this movie, too. I thought Cheryl White and Nick D'Agosto were great, and really made their characters believable and fully-fleshed out. Cheryl could have easily played Alice like a campy villain, but she played it like a mother who really thought she was doing the best by her son, and that made it so much more chilling and disturbing. And Nick made Alex's own creepy behavior understandable, and his character relatable. I liked that Nick continually played Alex as someone who was scared witless by the couple, but at the same time he kept trying to appeal to them because he felt sorry for them and didn't want to hurt them. Great, nuanced performances all around.

It's a shame that Nick D'Agosto seems stuck in teen comedies and campy horror movies. I know an actor's got to eat, but I hope that he'll find some meaty roles now that he's in his 30's and kinda starting to move into more adult roles.

dramaclub, have you seen Dirty Girl yet? It's not a teen comedy, and it's not a campy horror movie. Nick steals the movie, even though he's not the lead. He's pretty awesome in it. If it's in your area, check it out, it's well worth it.

I agree :)

** POTENTIAL MINI-SPOILERS **

I wasn't expecting much from this film -- it came on a pack of movies & I decided to give it a whirl.

Its quality of filmmaking can be somewhat 'B' (I'm sure having to do more with the budget for the film, than anything else), but that should not take away from what this film does have to offer.

I found it a great and disturbing portrayal of finding madness where you least expect it, in ways unexpected, and the escalating denial & slipping into madness is one of the best I have seen.

Couple that with the underpressure of the simmering suspense that builds along with it, and you have a great little quirky psychological thriller that goes from that simmer to an edge-of-your seat type of film, and without feeling the need to interject over-the-top gore, shaky cam or pop-out scares.

I enjoyed this film :)
