Awful Movie....

Does anyone agree? The acting was bad too, and the reason I got the movie is because I like Fermiga and David from Bones/Angel/Buffy. Bruce Dern was awful, almost a joke but he couldn't play it straight. Gary Busey was bad too, and not the usual good bad I expect from him. And Peter Weller, my god. I heard he was teaching somewhere, acting that is. I imagine everyone walked out of his class after his performance, it was a disgrace.

i liked the movie, but here are my complaints:

1. some idiot cast nick what ever his last name is. he was a terrible actor
2. i got really tired of paul yelling and screaming about doing the heist, but i liked him by the end of the movie. which sounds weird i know but i loved the very last scene in the movie.

i agree. i was confounded by this movie. was it supposed to be bad? i wondered why these actors had signed on and how the screenplay could warrant such a large budget for the cast. i think the movie wanted to be pulp fiction, and maybe everyone involved wanted it to be. (note titles in same font as pf) The director seemed somewhat incompetent. i thought the acting was horrible, to the point where i wondered if it was on purpose. Some of the physical movements (and blocking) of the actors were unbelievably awkward (the guy grabs weller's arm and 'stephen' gets shot). everything was so amateurish. maybe they just filmed the rehearsals and used those. i watch bad movies all the time, but this one is puzzling because every scene and nearly every performance seems to have no choice but to suck. Everyone knows it, and has dejectedly surrendered to the fact.

Yeah bad on every single level

We crash into each other, just so we can feel something.
