The 'cool guy' drives an 81 Honda?

This movie was sort of all over the place. Dax Sheppard has swarms of beautiful women fawning over him while he rings up their groceries, it's mentioned that he got to have sex with many girls in the past that worked there, and he's in a highly coveted cashier's position, yet he drives a comically old beater, even by beater standards, and is horribly awkward when he goes on a date with Jessica Simpson. Not to mention that Jessica and the rest of the world seems to give Dane *beep* for 'only being a box boy' and that he should shoot for the moon and become a cashier. LOL? No offence to anyone on this board who works at a grocery store, but I sure hope you don't walk around acting like your job is of real consequence like they do in this movie or give a dressing down to other people in lower positions at the store. It's almost like this movie would have been better off if Dax and Cook switched roles since it's hard to see a Handsome, chill, witty guy play underdog to a guy with bleach blonde hair who drives an 81 honda and is clearly terrible with women and juggles ceral boxes
