No substance

Nothing scary or suspensful about this movie. It was simply 2 hrs of nothing and the stalker was a joke. The shots of his feet were more interesting than when they finally showed him at the end of the movie.

That was so anti-climactic. I thought it'd be someone she knows, like the bartender.

And the guy wasn't scary-looking. He looked like someone who would work at the post office.

The anonymity of the perpetrator at the end was a bit of a let down. It would have been a lot more creepier if her stalker had turned out to be someone she actually knew as you say.

I couldn't agree with you more. I watched this movie for the first time last night and thought, "Okay...this seems like it's gonna be good." Of course, that was waaaaaaaaay before we see this stupid broad carrying on as if she didn't give a damn about the stalker and his threats! She took things serious in the beginning when it was just the phone calls, but what about the part where he nearly kills her mom? No, not serious at all. Just leave your half-dead mom's bedside to go shopping for lingerie with your friend. What about the part where the guy trashed her home? No, not serious at all. Let's just walk in anyway, and look around, taking a wild guess that the guy is not in the house anymore. What about the part where she and her son hid in a hotel room? Not serious either. Let's just leave the little boy unsupervised with a stalker/killer on the loose, where as before, he NEEDED a sitter earlier in the movie. Not to mention that if the stalker found out where she lived, worked, her mom's home, etc., what makes her think he won't find the hotel she's in? Yeah..leave the son in the room with no police protection outside while she goes to work, and instead of going straight to the hotel afterwards, let's stop off at the ex-husband's house for a quickie, and get angry when reminded that we're no longer married to him. This dense bitch took NOTHING serious in this movie. It got to a point where I actually rooted for the killer, because Joanne was entirely too stupid for me. I mean, she has to be the only 21st century actress to star in a movie who did NOT have caller ID, had a cell phone, but didn't seem to use it, or any other form of technology. Not to mention this movie contained ZERO security cameras to catch this guy's criminal acts. Dumb movie...dumb plot, with a dumb lead character!
