So much funnier than Killin Them Softly...

Dave seems more mature in for What Its Worth and after watching this, I didn't find Killin Them Softly that funny. I only laughed a couple of times in Killen Them Softly. But Daves performance in For What Its Worth is hilarious and the jokes are so true you can't help but die of laughter.

It seems for most people it depends on which order you saw them. When Killin Them Softly came out nobody had really heard of this guy, my friends introduced me to his HBO special and I was hooked. Years later he came out with For What It's Worth and pretty soon he was about to explode. I found the latter to be much funnier but most of my friends still say his original stand up special was better, probably becuase of sentimental value.

I agree that in For What It's Worth his stand up is much more polished and his delivery is flawless, a clear sign of an artist finding his niche.

In For What It's Worth, She seemed really tired and it felt almost forced IMO. The Audience wasn't as loud as KTS plus with KTS it felt like he could really push the limit.

Personally, Showtime is a bad place to do stand up. HBO and Comedy Central are where it's at.
