Youtube docu-drama 'Beethoven'

This was first shown on BBC2 in 2005. I found it by accident. If you're passionate about Beethoven as I am and enjoy different interpretations of the Maestro, you'll enjoy it.

Great documentary. Paul Rhys is fantastic as Beethoven - better than Harris and Oldman in my eyes. Mozart's docu-drama is also a great watch.

Yes, Paul Rhys doesn't resemble Beethoven but he definately captures him very well, portraying him at the different stages of his life from youth to old age. The scenes depicting Beethoven's near despair at his increasing deafness were very poignant. I admit I shed a tear.

Yes it's great! I have it on my laptop along with the Docu-Drama's on Mozart and Tchaikovsky. All 3 off them are terrific!
