Viva La Bush!

I don't understand all the controversy with this movie. It is just an explanation about the other side. Of all the people writing on this site....have any of you even seen this movie? And if you did, did you pay attention? I saw both. I watched both from a neutral standpoint and formed my own opinions. I am curious if anyone can answer this question, i am interested to know what the response will be. The question is "Why are you choosing to vote for Kerry?" Please don't respond with the blow of response that I hear most people give. The common response I hear is "i am voting for Kerry cause I don't like Bush" This is great and all, if Kerry does get elected, YEAH all you stupid Democrats got your wish and Bush is gone. That only takes care of day one. What about day two? What does Kerry stand for?

What is he going to do for this country? The idiot you guys want to put in the highest authority literally spit in the face of every soldier who fought in Vietnam, and on our entire country in the 70's. If you don't know what i am referring to then you are the problem with this country. We would rather kick out a man who is willing to eliminate any threat before it takes place(to keep us safe) attempt to make a stab at peace in the middle east, a man that is cleaning up 30 years of America turning there cheek, AND you people want to put a beast in office who in live broadcast literally said America was evil!!!! How can we trust a man that doesn't have faith in our country to properly run it. Maybe we should look at the facts. The fact is we have the best president right now. I will enjoy your responses.

reply

At least Kerry fought in the war, he didn't run behind his conservative family friends to go AWOL!

I would take Mickey Mouse or Goofy in the Oval office over Bush, although Goofy wouldn't be much of an improvement from what we got now!

Our "Great President" Has lied, stolen, raped, pillaged and plunder his weasley black guts out since taking office in 2001. The man is a Joke... and I wouldn't be surprised if he and Dick Head Cheney we're led out of the White House in Handcuffs.

reply

And that proves how stupid you are. Get your facts straight about Bush's military record before you go running your mouth. And Kerry's for that matter.

reply

The only reason Bush join the National guard was to stay away from being drafted and sent over to Vietnam. National Guard goes into foreign countries only in absolute worst case scenario. Atleast Kerry actually signed up in the army where he knew he would be sent over.

I'm in a glass case of emotion.

Jesus christ I'm tired of you liberals and conservatives. Really, just go *beep* yourself. Stop policing the world and invading places unilaterally. REALPOLITIK should have died with the cold war.

wow Djfunk you are the biggest dumbasss i have ever heard, Kerry would have been the biggest joke ever. Ya Bush raped little children and he is the reason puppies and kittens die.

reply

first of all i'm british. i can't vote but if i could it would be for kerry. not because i dislike bush. that's a horrible ideology, i agree with you on that. i'd vote for kerry because i believe he'd be a better president than bush, not just for the sake of getting bush out. now too the topic of this "eliminating threats before they take place" business. that raises a great set of moral issues. why shouldn't other countries be allowed nuclear weapons when america is, is america more important. why should 60'000 iraqis die for the sake of stopping a crime they haven't even committed yet.

also kerry never said "america was evil". he said that the war in iraq was a mistake. taht's not a lack of faith in the country. that's admitting that this great country can make mistakes. you can't just turn a blind eye on the suffering there. the sick thing is when people raise questions about those innoccents dying they get accused of being deserters or unpatriotic. no, they're realistic. they don't live in fox news land where america can do no wrong. don't get me wrong i don't like kerry much, i just like him more than bush.

and i have nothing against this film tackling the issues in fahrenheight 9/11. that's only fair. it's the republican campaign that's annoying me. it's entire theme is based around discrediting kerry. the republican convention was a joke.

I think you suck huge c*ck. Not because of your political views, but because of a reply you put on one of my posts. The Matrix Reloaded post. Such a long time ago, but instead of being an *sshole and coming in to someone elses thread and being a d*ck, maybe you can...i dunno...not spend your time starting sh*t.

P.S. Kerry is full of sh*t!

you start off your post with the title, "Viva la Bush". Later on you say you watched from a neutral standpoint? sure.. you could say the viva la bush came after you watched both movies *neutrally*. but that would just be another republican lying. (in other words. you werent a republican 6 months ago?)

what will bush do the first day? the same thing he did his *last* first day? play golf and sip brandy? at least if it were kerry. less life AROUND THE WORLD would be lost. at least with kerry REAL freedom would be had. (wheres the freedom in conservatism? if you want to be a conservatist. by all means do it. dont kiss someone of the same sex. dont have an abortion. by all means. fufill your christian ideals and go to heaven. but guess what. even though u prolly live in an area where all u see is christianity. (southern comfort?). THE WHOLE WORLD and YOUR WHOLE COUNTRY is not christian. thats why sepereating church from state. good choice for FREEDOM. (to practice your OWN religion). you turn *quick.. dim witted decisions, that do not take into account human life* into a man having strong leadership qualities. another republican outright twist i KEEP HEARING. and hey.. no wonder bush has no idea about human life. kerry SAW people die. he say life lost in a WAR. he fought. bush? he what? A-WOL'd right? thats not spitting in ANYWAYS face is it? more excuses for corruption in the republican party. and what were u trying to say? kerry attended a peace rally? LOL. that sure did spit in americans face? OMG PEACE. how un-american. i hope your proud of your country, and continue to be just so u dont end up *anti american* GASP. how taboo. war. bombings and death? NO WAY is that evil right? uh oh.. am i being un-american? thats totally stupid. i have to follow blindy a state thats evil.. are u sure thats REALLY american? maybe its ment to be quite the opposite. you all have the same viewpoint. OMG 9/11. HOW HORRIBLE. americans died.. americans are special. 5000 of them died that day. lets stop ALL regular programming. did u know TWENTY EIGHT THOUSAND CHILDREN DIED FROM HUNGER AND STARVATION TODAY. but they arent american right? -->? "We would rather kick out a man who is willing to eliminate any threat before it takes place(to keep us safe)". OOOOOOOOooooo. keep YOU say. wut about the children in iraq who have lived HOW many years under a HORRIBLE regime? and when they can FINALLY get SOME salvation. they get bombs dropped on them first. they get shot. children *beep* casualties. and not to mention poor american soilders fighting to make a president rich. all your doing is adding to a CYCLE OF VIOLENCE. did american respond to the violence upon them and listen to a world on the other side of the world crying out for some sort of help. no.. they just.. started a war..*plus killed innocent sikhs, hindus and muslims*. see. violence pays off. bush gave osama prolly what he wanted. TERRORISM to innocent people. white and brown. (ill talk more abt the cycle of violence later on). this is why u people piss me off. and YOU republicans are the ones who support terror and war by *continuing the cycle of violence* and making sure america is number one. as its people are too. but really. the republicans are the CHRISTIAN ones too. irony right? wrong.. ur not the christlike, loving compassionate ones. loving of ALL life. nope. ur the fundamentalists. just like the islamic fundamentalists who were responsible for 9/11? i guess we really are our biggest enemy. and let me expand islamic fundamentalists COMPLETLEY support violence and love it for *their* cause. same for republicans. the republicans think they are fufilling God's will. so do the islamic. in their own place. they are the ones stopping freedom, for religion. in afghanistan they MADE woman wear burkhas because they interpreted the koran in such a way. the republicans want to stop abortion and same sex marriage because theyve interpreted the bible in such a way. its you fundamentalists who will end up killing us. the republicans hord the money for the rich. bush makes sure he takes away the taxes for the rich. to make him and his buddies RICHER. MONEY MONEY MONEY. osama and saddam? ALSO hoarded the money for themselves, keeping the poor, poor. how very christian. im sure jesus. im sure jesus was happy to die for such a world. jesus loves bombing innocent kids. jesus loves war and violence. jesus loves *country*ism*. jesus loves keeping the poor, poor and the rich rich. jesus loves a divided war. jesus loves *violent, imposed freedom*. CAN U NOT SEE THE STUPIDITY HERE. should i even get INTO the deficiet? the NUMBER OF JOBS LOST? hey whens bush gonna visit the tsunami victims? send me the *media endorsment* picture. the one that makes him look... oh so loving.
and U KNOW WHAT. IM TIRED TO HELL OF YOU people walkin around like. "f 9/11 WAS A LIE it was LEFT WING *duh* and lies. blahblahblah." but NEVER have a read specific proof of this. ive even been told this movie doesnt SPEFICALLY point out the "lies" and disect them. face the truth. bush is corrupt. i MEAN CMON. the bin ladens invested in him!? the paperwork is there. want some more facts? like the cycle of violence. do you know the american gov. put osama bin laden in the power position to spread his evil? AND saddam. in the 80s the gov. funded and supported BOTH terrorists. they wanted to use osama in the 70s in case of a cold war. when osama was no longer useful after the cold war. the us (republican gov.). left him there in power. THEY KNEW THE WHOLE TIME ABT SADDAMN AND OSAMA KILLING ALL THOSE PEOPLE. not only did they *turn a blind eye*. they put them there. then when. OMG. revenge time came. and NEED for oil time came. WHAT ABOUT THE CIVIL WAR IN RWANDA. it was a bigger time/per capita genocide than WW2. what abt all the wars ALL over the world the u.s. dont care abt EVEN RIGHT NOW TODAY. cause theres nothing to be won for themselves. be proud uve voted for bush. be. proud. also. cycle of violence. butting into the israeli/palistinian things. didnt the u.s. kick out palistinians so the jewish people could take their land. WHY WAS THIS NOT DONT PEACEFULLY WITH COPORTATION FROM EVERYONE. because america.. that land of goddamn freedom is a *beep*
and yes. BRING ALL THE LIBERALS TO CANADA. BRING THEM. your whole history in american is based on violence and war. ull end up killing each other anyway. bring ur liberals. we'll take em. just like we took the loyalists u were violent too. which gave us the idea that gov. CAn be good if it provides healthcare and wealthfare. thinks that are ACTUALLY christian in nature. but not the fundamentalist christian like bush who wants to help no one but people like himself. we'll take ur liberals just like we took the black slaves through the underground railroad that u were racist too and took away their freedoms for ur culture *beep* in 50 years. u people will be looked at like the horrible slave owners. *everyone did it* but it was still wrong. just like voting for bush. we will see. AND. thats. yeah. thats it im done. im canadian. sure go ahead say it. im anti-american. sure.. if u add up all theyve done, how could i not be. but i do love new york. i do love the blue states. so im not fully anti american. just anit republican. cause im really FOR freedomn. the core of what america is really abt. not "pretending" conservative republicans. call me a left wing liar. ur a right wing fundamentalist.

reply

You know, I really don't know where to start in replying to the above post from bio1716, or if it is even worth it.

First of all, I have met enough Canadians to know that you are not representative of Canadian people en masse (just as Moore and Kerry are not representative of Americans), for several reasons:
1. Every Canuck I know can spell

2. Every Canuck I know can use punctuation and grammar above an illiterate 8-year-old's level

3. Nearly every Canuck I know is friendly and personable (not EVERY, since there are still French-Canadians ;))

4. I have yet to meet a Canadian that wants to actively sabotage the freedom, prosperity, and national security of their neighbor, the US. The collapse of the United States as a world power (or collapse completely as a nation) would only serve to endanger them as well. I believe that electing Kerry could push us to that very point.

I realize that this is anecdotal evidence, and does not mean that I have met a fair cross-section of the Canadian population, but it is strong evidence nonetheless. We have people that share your opinion in the US, but they are obviously in the minority (Kerry LOST THE ELECTION).

The most important thing I think everyone on these boards must understand is that calling someone names because of what they believe in does not get your point across or convince anyone to join your side. It only gets people's ire up and accomplishes nothing. If someone actually switches sides because of others bullying them into it, they believe in nothing.

I will address just a few of your points because I have neither the time nor the patience to address the more ludicrous claims (how do I choose...).

First of all, Bush's tax cut was not "for the rich" as you and Moore and the Democrat Party say (and possibly even believe). It's true--rich people got a tax cut. Poor people (those who pay taxes) got a tax cut. Everyone in the middle got a tax cut. Rich people pay more in taxes than you and I make in a year put together. They should get a cut just as I should. Reagan (and Kennedy before him) PROVED beyond a shadow of a doubt that tax cuts grow the economy, and the Gov't collects more money. Happens every time it's tried. Check the figures for yourself.

Second, Bush was never AWOL. CBS got that smacked in their collective face when they tried to prove that lie with forged documents.

Third, we didn't go to Iraq to "kill babies and women" as so many of you claim. This idea of "why should 60'000 iraqis die for the sake of stopping a crime they haven't even committed yet" is absolute crap. The US military (of which I am a proud member) is being more careful than you would like to believe about SAFEGUARDING civilians and preventing casualties. If that were not the case, we could have ended this war in a matter of minutes with a MOAB on Baghdad. I bet the survivors would come running to the table talking "peace". But, that's not the case. Our intent in Iraq is to show the rest of the Arab world what can happen to the populace when they are given the freedom you and I enjoy. The elections over the weekend prove this. The terrorists are fighting US soldiers and Marines, and not doing well. When you compound that with the fact that the Iraqi people are so hellbent on voting that they will not be scared off by threats of violence, they're finished. The Iraqi people at large LOVE US, and are going to enjoy freedom for the first time in their lives. You won't see that on the news, because most of the journalists want to see us fail so they can say, "Toldya you shoulda voted for Kerry!" Don't believe me? Go there for yourself, or ask any military member returning from there.

As far as Bush visiting the tsunami debris...it's not his country. It would be horribly unsafe for him to visit a Muslim country in chaos (especially when our own media has falsely portrayed him as fighting a war against ISLAM). The US citizenry...PRIVATE citizenry...has donated 10 times as much money, food, and supplies to tsunami victims as everyone else on Earth combined (yes, even including the almighty Useless Nations). That is a statistical fact (as of last weekend--it may have changed) you can actually look up. It's also traditionally inappropriate for a foreign leader to go to a disaster site--it gives people the impression that the home nation's leader is ineffective. Condolences and support (financial, moral, and nutritional) are proper and sufficient.

Number of jobs lost under Bush: 600,000
Number of jobs created under Bush: 3,000,000 and counting
Anytime technology advances, old jobs are edged out. You know what replaces them? New jobs. Case closed.

Lastly, regarding abortion and war:
From Bush's own words (paraphrasing, and I happen to agree), it is a matter of guilt and innocence. It is NOT incongruous to simultaneously be Pro-life and Pro-death penalty. It is a matter of giving them a chance. There is nothing more innocent than an unborn child. There is nothing more guilty than a murderer. We gave you a chance, and you killed people. Now you die. Same with the terrorists and their allies. You could have been a good person, but you chose evil. Bush is trying to protect our country, and by extension yours, from outside forces trying to harm us. They have already demonstrated intent, opportunity, and capability to harm us. Those are the three prerequisites for use of deadly force by the US military. They are guilty. Those fighting for them are guilty. The guilty must be punished. End of story.

I am sure I will be inundated with mindless slogans and hate speech for this, but facts don't lie. Every statement I have made, with the exceptions of my own opinions, can be fact-checked and verified. I challenge you to do this with ALL information you receive, even...no...ESPECIALLY when you hear it from the failing Democrat Party.

reply

"Anytime technology advances, old jobs are edged out. You know what replaces them? New jobs."

This statement is actually true, but a politician cannot come out and say, "we're going to lose some jobs, but new jobs in new technology sectors will arise and help us in the long run." Tell that to the unions.

To lose jobs and have new ones created is a natural and necessary part of a healthy economy's evolution. It's the only way an economy stays on top. Without that evolution, you end up with something like Cuba. Generally, the more an economy is beholden to socialist governments and unions, the less economic advancement there can be. (Again, generally, not always.)

Also, leftist economic ideologies often repel the best personnel in a given industry. For example, European doctors (me included) have migrated to the U.S. for better opportunities. They don't want to earn regulated government wages. And governments do a poor job of promoting medical technology.

Europe has done a pretty nice job of finding a balance between socialist economic components and prosperity. Neverless, with their high taxation rates holding them down, it's difficult to match the prosperity level of the U.S.

reply

Economic advancement for who?
All I see is the rich getting obscenely rich, while the poor get poorer, and the middle class slowly creeping towards the bottom, unless they take up 2 or 3 jobs.

reply

You can tell by only reading a little of what "haggicide's" says that he is a republican for a couple good reasons:

1. The nickname haggicide----- more killing, more deaths (no matter if it is a joke or not)

2. How evil you are---- making fun of bio1716's grammar despite the great points he made which were very intelligent and true, unlike yours!

3. Your points are ill-regarded and false in many aspects (just one example----"Number of jobs lost under Bush: 600,000"------ actually, over 1.2 million {go to factcheck.org}---- actually just go to any nuetral site)

4. Your views of the rest of the world and America are close-minded and self-indulgent (when you said we were SAFEGUARDING civilians, I believe you should have said "killing and taking over their government without consent from the country in general {i.e. Democracy}")

5. You try to make points and end up embarrasing youself (ex. Bush)

reply

It's difficult to accurately tabulate job loss or job gains.

We know that the unemployment rate in the U.S. has steadily been 4-5% for the last 20 years or so.

4-5% of a given population will give you a certain figure. If your population rises, the figure (the number produced by 4-5%) will rise.

For example, if my town had 100,000 people in the work force in 1990 and the unemployment rate was 5%, then that means 5,000 people in my town are unemployed. Let's say by the year 2000, my town's labor force has grown to 300,000. The unemployment rate is still 5%, and now I have 15,000 people unemployed -- it appears my town has "lost" 10,000 jobs.

Bending it the other way, it's kind of like how Bill Clinton can say he "created" 20 million jobs. Again, the employment rate has always been about 4-5%.

So what's the inverse of 4-5% unemployment? It's approximately 95% employment. During Clinton's 8-year term, the U.S. grew from roughly 250 million to 275 million, for a growth of 25 million.

And what's a 95% employment rate of 25 million? The answer is 20 million. There are your "jobs created."

Politicians argue about these figures day and night, yet few people seem to have figured it out.

Stats are just terrible indicators, especially when they come from politicians or professors who are trying to sway your point of view.

For instance, a politician might say that 30% of Americans are without health care. The assumption is that 30% of the population is too poor to pay for health care. The statistic never considers human factors, such as the possibility that someone might decline insurance, or that wealthy people may not want to pay for insurance, etc.

Fidel Castro says 100% of his citizens have access to health care. But what does "access" mean? If they give you a bandage for a broken arm, yeah, technically, you've been given access to health care. But the statistics do not measure health care quality, innovation, etc.

Back to employment/unemployment: The only way to tell if your country has an unemployment problem is if you, yourself, are out of a job.

p.s. Sorry for the long post! Hope it wasn't too boring.

reply

Actually, I thought your post was very interesting and informative.

What I do find funny about the previous post is that his criticisms of haggicide are indicative of the logic on that side of the political spectrum. He claims the arguments are not "intelligent or true". Funny, compared to the rant that Haggicide was responding to, his arguments were VERY intelligent and true, they just weren't emotional. I've come to the realization that, as far as the left is concerned, it's not fact and logic that matter, it's emotion. Just look at Fahrenheit 9/11 for example.

reply

I just think conservatives are severely misunderstood.

Minimum wage is a great example. Liberals support a hike in minimum wage because they argue that it helps the lower income earners. You never hear the conservative argument, which is that a higher minimum wage hurts lower income earners by creating unemployment. (The unemployment is created because the wage hike puts economic strain on employers -- they have to make cuts in the form of layoffs.)

I'm not advocating either position. I'm just saying there are compelling arguments on both the liberal and conservative sides.

Conservatives are such easy targets because, superficially, many of their views seem callous and outrightly cruel: conservatives are against minimum wage, conservatives fight with labor unions, etc.

I'd agree with your comment about Fahrenheit 9/11. Michael Moore uses sophisticated propaganda tactics. I'll put it that way. ;o)

Personally, I don't think Michael Moore will last because his deception will catch up to him, and he'll lose credibility.

Again, I'm not attacking liberal ideology. I think it's great that Moore promotes a liberal point of view. But he doesn't need to use political propaganda and trickery to get his ideas across.

It can be done, right?

Unfortunately, employment is at an all-time high, our economy is trillions in debt, people are dying every day in Iraq fighting a war based on lies (please don't make me whip out the sources on this; read a damn Washington Post or something), and the president is asking for more money while not even considering a pullout from Iraq. A simple question: if we're not pulling out, what are we staying for? There must be some veeery good reason to keep thousands of American soldiers across seas fighting against a force that has infiltrated the country so deeply, we may have no choice than to nuke the whole thing to win. HEEEEY! THERE'S an idea. Let's cap off this sh*tty presidency with a big bang.

I'm tired of fighting this man. As Americans we have lost our war against our own judgment, but the best thing to do is pick up the pieces and move on.

I'm tired of being silent. Who gives a *beep* if Michael Moore is a hypocrite when it comes to how he lives or where he sends his kids to school? He lives in America, with the rest of the hypocrites, and the world as well, where fallibility reigns. The point is, he uncovered certain truths about Bush, things that didn't matter so much (like his skirting through the political world with family help; lord knows he's not the first to do it and won't be the last) and things that did...like his ties with Al Qaeda, his foreknowledge about terrorist threats, and most of all, his continued abuse of power to gain a fearful kind of respect America's people and Congress, not to mention from any smaller countries that showed the slightest hint of power, which he later used to either form bullsh*t coalitions or bully so much that they eventually turned a deaf ear to us (and as much sh*t as we give so many European countries over here, the fact is that their diplomacy at this point is far superior to our own.)

I'm *beep* sick of listening to people still defending Bush after EVERYTHING that has happened to this country. We are dying in Iraq, in our own streets from poverty, from failed Medicare and failed welfare and failed economy in general, but there is a worse fate we are facing: we are DIVIDED. Never has America been so turned against herself than now, when we must be stronger than history has ever called for. *beep* the Democrats, *beep* the Republicans, but more importantly, *beep* the Bushwhackers and the Bushbackers. It's over. We have lost our dignity and honor like we have never lost it before, and the whole world knows it. STOP FIGHTING YOUR BROTHERS. We accomplish nothing but to make ourselves into the very "jackasses" we fight against, or so we call them. I can never expect peace to come, but there was a time when fighting for peace, or this ideal of "peace", was enough to enlighten America more brilliantly than any country in history, young as she was.

I have so much more to say, but I'm tired.

Our country is not a lost cause.

kerry did not literally spit in the face of every soldier that went to Vietnam. he just tried to redress the common arrogance and savagery that plagues the US army so that wherever they go, they might wreck fewer havocs. For that matter Bush is the one that chickened out, so go figure, do you want to be brave and express your opinion, and get twisted and ballasted along the way by people who don't understand half of what that opinion is? or do you want to be stupid and not say anything at all, saving all the trouble with oppositions?

It's nearly two years since the debate on this forum petered out.
Any of you Americans who rose to his defence two years ago want to raise a glass to your glorious president and his continued war built on lies? Anyone want to do a "fact check" on how many marines have lost their lives in the last two years. Given I'm australian, do me a favour and factor in all the foreign troop casualties as well. Oh...and the civilians - both Iraqi and foreign nationals.
Let's also raise a toast to continued destabilisation in the middle east and it's ever increasing alienation from the West.
A round of drinks to the rise of islamic insurgents as a result of perceived western interference in Iraq and Afghanistan.
You poor saps! Did America learn nothing from it's involvement in Vietnam?
Did you learn nothing from history with regard local reaction to occupying forces - want a recent example? Look at the rise of the IRA following Bloody Sunday in Northern Ireland.
Whilst America practises "foreign policy" it fundamentally has no idea of the world outside the US of A. Want a supporting statement for that? Look at how many americans per capita hold passports compared with most other countries in the developed world. As a nation you're embarrassingly insular!!
Your practice of foreign diplomacy in the world is akin to Godzilla wandering through Tokyo. You're big, you're lumbering, you're dumb.
A famous comedian once hit it right on the head "America plans on making up for being late for the last two world wars by being especially early for the next one"
Don't get me wrong - it's not that we don't like americans, we're just a little tired of your "shoot first, ask questions later" policy. Trouble is, you're sucking in the leaders of countries like mine. They're selling their souls for foreign trade concessions (yep, we get it wrong too).
We find it amusing that you're ready to impeach a president for getting a blowjob but you reward a liar and a warmonger and a guy who's clearly clueless with 4 more years in office!!! How does that work?
It's a shame Jeb Bush isn't running for president - I was keen to see just how clueless the voting public of america were.
So now that I've riled the radical fundamentalist christian right - can't wait to see the jackboots descend when you reply.
I'll end this by saying I hope America - a GREAT nation (no sarcasm in that line, I mean it) - finds its way again. Put Godzilla back in his place.
Stop wandering the globe looking for a fight - or at least, find a way to stop your presidents doing that when they're looking for a boost in their popularity (don't forget, it worked for Clinton too - bombed Iraq, everyone forgot about him dropping his pants).

Amen to that!

I'm curious if you Bush supporters could have it, would you put Bush in office permanently? I'm generally curious if any of you would like that. Discuss!

The war in Iraq is based on lies?

Please, just ONCE, I'd like to see some proof.

Find the statements that President Bush has made, which he knew were not true.

Okay, just find ONE.

One, singular, just one. You must prove that President Bush knew different than he spoke.

You see, there is a difference between a mistake and a lie.

Now, how about a thought experiment. I hand you a gun. Is it loaded?

There is only one correct answer, "a gun is loaded until proven otherwise."

Saddam had guns. Including WMDs. And we were supposed to take his word that he had got rid of them? That he was never, ever going to make any more, even when the mean nasty sanctions ended?

So, perhaps President Bush made a mistake. Maybe he did not make a mistake, and the Iraqis and Russians told the truth about moving the WMDs. We may never know.

If President Bush did make a mistake, he erred on the side of safety.

Which I will take any day, any time over what the Dummycrats have to offer.

You see, when the Dummycrats make a mistake, it's bad for America. Like Madeleine Albright claiming that the sanctions had killed half a million Iraqis, when it was Saddam who had.

But the big difference is THIS: when the Democrat Party executes flawlessly, it is bad for America. Like Jimmy Carter surrendering our canal to Panamanian schoolboys.

The Democrat Party will sell out to anyone, anytime, for the low low price of a fawning headline.

They will even commit real *treason* like Dennis Kucinich working for Bashar Assad.

Just for a headline.

Treason on the cheap!

Gotta love Dummycrats, else we'd have to put 'em in a sack and drown them in a cold creek.

Oh this is too good to pass up.

O.k, so based on your logic (snigger)......so based on your logic (BWAAAHAAAAAHAAAAHAAAAHAAA)......sorry...."snort".....(regains composure).....erring on the side of "SAFETY" in say, oh....i dunno, 1962 during the Cuban Missile Crisis would have been bombing the cubans back to the stone age and facing annihilation by the Soviets in return?
Nice solution. Guess it was lucky you had a Democrat surrender-monkey in charge back then eh?
Sorta supports my "shoot first, ask questions later" theory dontcha think brainiac?
Remember Reagan's "We start bombing in five minutes" quip when he thought he was off air?
Just lucky the US picked on an opponent with no nuclear weapons and a shed load of oil this time round huh?
You talk about providing proof that Bush knew Iraq had WMDs and yet in the same sentence proudly trumpet your "truth" that Saddam had them despite the fact that no evidence was found to support this?
Is your name Bill O'Reilly by any chance?
You are a right wing muppet.
So were the german people during the Nazi reign.
Have fun with that.
Go back to sleep right wing America - your dullard is in charge.......just

"all you stupid Democrats," "we have the best president right now."

so much for your "neutral standpoint."

I hope all the people who said they would or did vote for Kerry realize he was for the war in Iraq.

George W. Bush is one of the worst presidents in American history!!

Here's why:

1. He has one of the lowest IQ's of American presidents (he makes up words all the time that don't actually exist; frequently loses his place in a sentence; cannot form well-thought out sentences; often forgets simple folk sayings, etc.)

2. He was a child of extreme privilege and remains a spoiled brat.

3. He had been a problem drinker for most of his life; he had several DUI's that his father covered up using his political influence.

4. He dodged military service in Vietnam because his daddy once again came to his aide and got him into the National Guard where little George preceded to snort and sell cocaine and go AWOL; he dodged required physical examinations while in the service due to his inability to pass the drug test portion of the exam.

5. He ran every oil company that Daddy Bush gave him into the ground.

6. He has delusions of grandeur (he actually believes that God hand-picked him to be President of USA).

7. He is a religious zealot, often making policy based on his own, self-serving religious views such as opposition to abortion, stem-cell research, same-sex marriage, etc.

8. He is a bigot (homophobia).

9. He has poorly handled the finances of this county; while Bill Clinton was in office our country had a surplus of billions of dollars for the first time since FDR was in office; 8 years later we now have a $9 trillion deficit.

10. He completely dropped the ball on 9/11. He allowed (in a manner of speaking) the terrorists to attack the US. He had knowledge of an upcoming potential attack on the US, projected dates, locations and members of the terrorist unit, and he did nothing to try and prevent it.

11. He declared war on a relatively innocent country; Iraq is not an innocent country in the broad view of things, but had no connections to the terrorist attacks that occurred on 9/11. Hussein may have hated America, but had just as much hatred for Al-Qaida and Osama Bin Laden.

12. Even in trying to eliminate a violent, oppressive foreign dictator (Hussein), he has managed to completely bungle the operation. Our presence in Iraq has only fueled the nations distrust and hatred for our country.

13. He has associated/appointed numerous felons in government positions. Including Tom DeLay, Jack Abramoff (never held gov't position but is a shady lobbyist), Dick Cheney,

14. He has repeatedly exchanged our civil liberties for increased "security" (meaning cameras and wire-tapping a la Nazi Germany). We cannot have our rights exchanged for security. What good is security without the freedom to enjoy it? He does not want the freedom for women to abort unwanted pregnancies for whatever reason (violates Roe V. Wade and 14th Amendment); he does not want homosexual couples to have the freedom of legally pronouncing their love for each other (not a federal law anywhere, but is an issue of freedom nonetheless); he does not want people to have the freedom to say whatever they want in the privacy of their own home or in private conversations (violates 1st amendment); has fashioned secret prisons in which our "prisoners of war", which some of the accused are completely innocent, are tortured physically and mentally and are not allowed trials or visitation rights(violates Geneva Convention, 5th, 6th and 7th Amendments).

15. Despite claiming his patriotism and support of US military troops and living veterans, he has repeatedly cut funding to G.I.'s medical care and compensation. (He basically stole money from old men and limbless war vet's).

I could go on, but it's late.

In summation, George Bush is not a Republican, he is a FASCIST. He is also a moron and utmost a WARMONGER. Bush and his associates are petty, devious, backhanded, vile thieves and bullies. They use scare tactics and intimidation to get what they want out of the American people as well as people from other nations. To think that Clinton was nearly impeached for something as moderate as oral sex and Bush has not even been indicted for the numerous illegal acts he and his associates have committed makes me lose faith in my country. It shows how much a lot of money, power and political corruption can really take down the entire infrastructure of the greatest country on Earth.

George Walker Bush should be in a federal prison right now for treason. I want him to live out the rest of his natural life in an orange jumpsuit with a serial number printed on it.

*beep* BUSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

p.s. You know what the censored word above is.
