That was interesting to read in the imbd trivia comment that the actress playing the girlfriend was also cast as one of the women in the trio. I did not assume that the girlfriend was part of the trio as I did not believe it was relevant to the essence of the story i.e. Daniel's reaction to his abuse, his pain, reawakening....... ( A friend however could see the girlfriend as part of the trio due to her physical resemblance).

The imdb page for this movie actually provides this 'trivia spoiler' about the casting below the credits. I do not think it is a spoiler as it is about the casting choice and does not reveal who the identity of the 3 women ( which again is not the point of the film)
shareI think the double casting of Anna Torv was a mistake considering the fact that her original character wasn't meant to be one of the abductors. She has very distinctive eyes and voice and it didn't take much time for me to recognize her under the mask. That biased my expectations of the plot the wrong way.
