Bad Bad Bad...

I really expected more from this movie, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who was disappointed. The idea had much more potential.

George Lopez was doing his George Lopez thing
Christopher Walken was doing his Christopher Walken thing
Terry Crews was doing his Terry Crews thing

and this new guy... Fogler, it was like a 90 minute Jack Black impersonation.

The biggest problem with the story was that the funnies moments weren't all that funny and the movie couldn't decide how serious it wanted to take itself. Sometimes there are moments that are completely ridiculous and silly, and other times there are moments that are sincerely heartfelt (or at least they try to be). The range of comedy vs drama was too great, and in that the movie was constantly fighting with itself.

My favorite part was when Christopher Walken died in the same way that Colonel Chi (Leslie Nielsen) died in Surf Ninjas. Ha!
