I must have missed something because a tiff like this doesn't come out of no where. Can someone tell me what happened? I know the show is suddenly ending, but why have Leland and Duane Lee cut off all ties with the family?
If MGM won't bring back "Stargate Universe" then I will!
Good question haven't seen or heard much of what happened but I guess the Dog & Beths issues with Duanes fiance were legit and maybe leland chose Duane over Papa.

shareIf you really watch the show, Dog and Beth don't do anything. Its always Duane Lee, Leland (usually Leland), and the Samoan guy - forget his name - do all the work and actually bust the fugitives.
Dog and Beth just stand around talking *beep* and wearing gaudy clothes. Its not so much Dog's fault. Hes getting way too old to be trying to fight and take down full-grown men. And Beth NEVER did anything except talk *beep* and walk around looking ridiculous. She has all this badass SWAT gear on, but has press-on nails on her gloves and wears high-heels.
If I were Leland and Duane Lee, I'd be pissed too. They are the ones getting beat up and making the busts but their dad and step-mother are making all the big money for doing nothing.

Duane Lee met this woman and fell in love. While he was too busy concertrating on her his work was suffering. He was making mistakes while filling out bail bonds and bail bonds reports. He also stated in one episode that he was 38 years old and he just didn't want to do it no more. He was tired of being where to stand where to sit and what to dress. As he put it that was no way for a full grown adult man to be treated.
Duane Lee also stated that he just lost his passion for the business. He didn't want to do it anymore.
Dog stated in one episode that he was happy Duane Lee found someone. But when you're chasing a Bounty and you're texting your Girlfriend while trying to capture a fugitive. That could be the line between life and death.or if he isn't paying attention not only could a fugitive escape. Butthere goes a potential payday.
Dog bulit his business up from the rock bottom. A and E came along and did the show only after he spent 30 years or more doing this for a living. He knows this game.
Even Dog said he doesn't see himself doing this too much longer. And the reason why Leland left.
He didn't like the way Duane Lee was being treated and he was tired of being put in the spot where he'd have to choose between Dog and Beth or his brother.
And You can tell Leland was like Duane Lee and he was getting burnt out too.
These things happen. I'll bet they'll patch things up in a couple years or so.
