'Couldn't feel my blackness' lol Was jim putting Tom on?
It is kind of hard to believe that Jim didn't know
that Tom was black. Tom said he was surprised that
he couldnt feel his blackness, but actually Jim
did have one point he's blind.
However, patterns of speech , especially in linguistics,
sometimes give good indication as the background
of the speaker without seeing them. I know my
teacher has done these tests and many times we
can tell when a speaker is black or white.
However does anyone buy Jim's argument, I think even
though he is blind he'd be able to recognize
vocal patterns and see that Tom is black.
