i was waiting for the guy to say,... oh SH!t it is the wrong finger! (since he was supposed to use the right one) when he was going to stop 'the auto-destroy sequence', after all the cliches, that would make a different movie!! not to mention, it would be funny =]

THIS is what made me truly disappointed in this adaptation, and even the book as well: You have a device that supposed to deactivate a self destruct and only one person & only one terminal per floor?? ... and very easily broken POS machine.
The odd man rule is also incredibly stupid as was the whole thumb and even key card thing... either is damaged and your are fuct.
