Watching this right now with my African Gray


As usual when we watch a documentary about parrots, the little dude is completely entranced. Can't take his eyes off the screen. :-)

We are only halfway through and he is already imitating the sounds of the birds in the film. That's what parrots do in the wild when there are no human voices to mimic: they mimic other birds. (He also does that for some of the song birds that live around my place.)

Has been a great flick so far. He seems to be enjoying it, too. :-)

Do you have any other reactions from your bird after having watched the whole movie? (That is a couple of months ago, I know.)

I just finished watching it with my sun conure. He hardly reacted at all, but our budgies went nuts whenever the conures in the film made any sort of sound!
