Similar plot to Korean 'My Girl and I' ?

I just noticed how similar the story is to "My Girl and I". "My Girl and I" is basically this movie without the casette tapes. I like both movies but maybe only because they're practically the same. This movie is more in depth and original. I was just wondering, which came first Sekai or "My girl and I"?
