slow paced

within 1-2 hours i began to scream at the screen..."DO SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" this is an asian cleache melo-drama about "love"...though it never really seemed to me that shikimaru and aki loved each other, they were just infatuated with each other. i was expecting something good to come out of japan...but i guess i was wrong. i didnt care for the charectors one bit, and didnt care that she died from cancer. after 17 years, you still cant get over it, how sad. its not like its a family member or something, she was just a highschool girl who you had a crush on.....17 years ago! and why blame ritsuko for not giving you the tape in time, even though she didnt say the reason why its stupid...its because she got hit by a car! she almost died! i guess theres no reason for stating that...eff you and the center of the world. also shikamaru is such a pathetic charector and maye thats why we dont care. another thing, when he spreads her ashes, why is her whole body in a tiny bottle?...i mean i know asians are small...but that small?..

i'm not sure where to start.

he definitely didn't blame ritsuko in the slightest.
on that note, about him--his name is sakutaro.

when you're a kid, especially a teenager, attending high school, you're more susceptible to the actions of your youth. watching somebody you love die is an incredibly hard thing to go through, regardless of age. perhaps if she had lived, and they had stayed together, their loved would have simpered down and led them elsewhere, but he had to watch her die while he loved her--that love still strong. why would he so easily let go of his feelings and move on? it was a traumatising event. that makes him pathetic?
he was strong and supported her and did all he could, basically, to make sure that she knew she was loved before she died.

also, her entire body did not fit into a bottle. having such a small part of her in a bottle was a shout-out to when they took part of their principal's body for his uncle.

hmm maybe...im only saying that based on the non-steryotype "asian pople are small" in all regards. so that is how i drew my conclusion that her entire body fit into the tobasco bottle. maybe its......symbolism?...
