I hate the Flame thrower! It's supposed to make things easier on the boat level (and other levels) but it doesn't. Every time I use it on someone they automatically come rushing at me and I lose my health. I wish it weren't in the game!

I had the same problem. Gave up and picked up the M60. Just got shot to hell when I couldn't get close enough to burn them, then I couldn't walk down the corridor without getting burned by the corpses.
