You want a second Punisher Game? Do your part.

This is a copy of an email I sent out to The Punisher Archive, but remembering that we had some tried and true Pun fans here on the IMDB forums I thought I throw this out for anyone interested.
Recently Marvel.com ran a blog in which they responded to many fan requests clamoring for the development of Marvel vs Capcom II claiming that it was through the persistent vocalization of their dismay that the company indeed decided to put the game back on track. We've all known the power of internet mobs before, but not until recently had we been given an outlet such as this.

And here is they main reason I come to you now. Hero HQ forums the official nexus of all things Marvel in the world of gaming have come together and created their own poll based on the previous article. The poll which I will link below asks which direction you would like the future of Marvel games to go and the creators of Marvel.com have provided a link on their own site as well as promising to watch the poll to see which way the fans are leaning.
The Punisher is not doing so well in this poll. While his fans may be diverse and many, his long separation (in videogames) from the rest of the Marvel Universe has left the fans similarly isolated. Many on the site don't even seem to know, nor understand Frank Castle as they continuously seem to underestimate his abilities.
So I propose a rallying call. Join me in throwing weight behind our cause, and spread this message far and wide. From the Gun hobbyists toying with their M1911's in the basement, to the slacker with freshly inked skulls sitting in the tattoo parlor, be you a fan of classic Punisher, Marvel MAX, varied Movie adaptations, or everything, and in between, this is our chance to cement one of our favorite characters for generations to come!
If you wish to see Punisher in the future of Marvel gaming, come to the site and lend me your voice! Vote for the "Punisher 2" videogame or just hang around the forums, and caste your voice in the other Punisher related polls. Registration is quick and easy and we really could use the help. >_<

With enough fervor, we might even get Frank as a down-loadable character in the Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 coming this September.
