The song 1979 during the montage was a poor choice

I like the movie and I like the song.

I just think it didn't work together. It took me out of the movie. Besides the dance scene its the only background music that had any vocals if I remember correctly.

What are you on about? The Talking Heads, Alanis, Soul Asylum et al tracks had vocals too.

Also, I thought it was a good choice. Great song, great scene.
