The ending always get's me...

Throughout the movie, a few of the scenes give me chill's, like after the go-carts in the car when Randal says to Dante "Why do you give a *beep* You're leaving.", The 1979 montage, when Randal is sitting in Mooby's thinking about his life when Dante leaves, And the Jail scene was just powerful dialogue, and the scenes in which the Quick Stop is getting fixed up. All those scenes send chill's through my body, but after watching Clerks II for the millionth time just now, everytime Soul Asylum's Misery starts playing and the movie turns to black and white, I just can't hold back the tears. I know, I'm a 23 year old guy, I shouldn't be shedding tears over movies haha. But it's just the best closure I've seen for any movie. I wonder how many other guys will admit they've shed tears for this movie??

You can be any age any gender and still cry over powerful scenes done right.

Randall's jail scene dialogue was gold. Powerful, from the heart, and has some light hearted moments to balance it out like Jay's interruptions and another Anne Frank/Helen Keller mixup

If Ari Gold saw Chappie he would say:
"Chappie makes Elysium look like Citizen ƒvcking Kane"

Can you feel it? Today is the first day of the rest of our lives.

Humdrum, miserable and poor lives.

That's the sad part.

"Misery"

They say misery loves company
We could start a company and make misery
Frustrated Incorporated

Well I know just what you need
I might just have the thing
I know what you'd pay to see

Put me out of my misery
I'd do it for you, would you do it for me
We will always be busy making misery

We could build a factory and make misery
We'll create the cure; we made the disease
Frustrated Incorporated
Frustrated Incorporated

Well I know just what you need
I might just have the thing
I know what you'd pay to feel

Put me out of my misery
All you suicide kings and you drama queens
Forever after happily, making misery

Did you satisfy your greed, get what you need
Was it only envy, so empty
Frustrated Incorporated
Frustrated Incorporated
(Put me out of my misery)
Frustrated Incorporated
(I'd do it for you, would you do it for me)
Frustrated Incorporated
(Forever after happily)
(I know just what you need)

The movie ending is stupid garbage and sends a bad message IMO

reply

What message is that?

Seize the moment, 'cause tomorrow you might be dead.

reply

Message is people shouldn't have to get far or ahead in life and people who do who *beep* and people should have the right to the right to spend the rest of their lives being stupid lazy, immature slackers and not make anything big of themselves.

reply

That's not the message at all.

Dante and Randall buy their own business to run. How is that lazy or immature?

Heck, that's the complete opposite. Dante was about to be given a business. He chose to buy his own.

Seize the moment, 'cause tomorrow you might be dead.
