Did the traslation bug you a bit?

I was always a fan of the comic. And in the comic Ethan always seemed like a regular guy who was gay. In the movie, he got a little gayer, as is to be expected, but...It still was really annoying. I enjoyed Eric Orner's portrayal of a normal guy, and Daniel Letterle's portrayal made Ethan just a little bit too whiney and well, gay, for my tastes. That's not to say I'm against it or anything (Die hard Nico [another gay movie] fan here) but I don't think it was the right choice for Ethan.

Does anyone else feel the same, or am I about to get myself roasted with flames?
