Questions and observations (spoilers)

I saw this movie in the middle/end on tv and had to read about it and buy it, it moved me that much. I've watched it a few times now, and I have some questions, and some things I found amusing to share, perhaps people will add on. After all..even though it's very real..still has some humor .

First off, questions I had...

Q - Does anyone know what happened to Pashow's(the boy who uses a crutch) leg? Obviously he was injured from something but his leg is still there,his foot..but he knee looks bent to the side. Anyone know why?

Q - I thought it was sort of sweet when Satilite and Pashow found Riga crying at the fence, is it customary to kiss and cuddle a strangers baby? A dumb question I know but...it still made me wonder.

Q - What sort of clothes is Agrin wearing, is it cultural or anything?

Q- Could the reason Agrin keeps asking when they are going to leave be a metephore for death? She keeps asking when they are going to "leave" but Hengov doesn't give a straight answeras if he could know already.

Now, onto observations..

I thought this was a funny line even if it was just random to hear

Upon learning from Shirkooh that his beloved bike had been taken by the villiage leaders/elders. Satilite : " How dare he take my chastity!"

This is a keyline I think in those who hadn't picked up on the Agrin/ Riga relationship . When they go to the shell field for the first time, Hengov tell Agrin to watch HER child. It's hard to catch sort of but he does say it.

Lastly...I wish more of Riga's talking rambles were translated in some scenes



"..and I mean that from the heart of my bottom.."
