Isn't that weird that some bloopers are left in the movie?

For example, there is a scene among the French men where the leading officer gets a haircut. He talks with his hairdresser for about 4 minutes. The hairdresser is holding a mirror. Then the officer tell the other guy to not direct the mirror in "their" direction (talking about the cameraman). Then both actors look at the camera and laugh. Why was this left in the movie?

Ahhhhhhhh... Thanks for the help. I had a hard time understanding some parts of the dialogue. The hairdresser character especially, was very hard to understand.

He actually says "There isn't a mirror in front." That's why they laugh.

Exactly. That wasn't a blooper, that was a line. The aide-de-camp was a barber and was used to showing people how the back of their hair looked by having the hand-held mirror reflect in the barbershop mirror. But he forgets that they are in a trench and there is no mirror in front of them. It was a funny moment.

I wonder at times how much certain people have understood about the films they watch.

Some people just don't seem to understand things very well and end up getting completely the wrong idea about what they are seeing.

I wouldn't be surprised if some people think of Star Wars as a futuristic, Oedipallian romp.

And I wonder how many people feel good about themselves by making fun of others in these forums. I'm sure there are times you don't get some stuff either. These forums are helpful to those who need some points clerified and your comments are not helping anyone in any way.
