not to mention poorly-developed
especially for a two-hour movie
the whole film was. the events of the time where far more interesting thought provoking.

Well the movie only has two hours to develop several different characters.
But yeah, I found myself losing interest in the movie when the German couple were on screen. I was much more interested in the other characters. The Scottish priest mostly.
