'Fanfiction' by the actors :)

Cute little anecdote mentioned on the audio commentary by the director: He tells us that Guillaume Canet and Daniel Bruehl invented their own little story where their two characters Audebert and Horstmayer -indeed- meet in Rue Vavin. After the war, in 1922.
How I wish to hear that story. :) I wonder if they just talked about it, or if they even wrote it down? Proof that even "professionals" sometimes invent fanfiction.

(Bonus little anecdote: While watching the movie again and listening to the commentary, I noticed that there's a little moment when Audebert's full name is revealed in a military file. "Camille Rene Audebert". So he belongs to the few characters in the movie of whom the audiences gets the complete name!)
