Just watched tonight. Such a powerful film

I finally watched this brilliant film tonight and I was blown away. Not was it brilliantly filmed with some great acting but extremely powerful. The film really shows you how The Great War was such wasted life. Stuck in the middle of all the politics were men from all these countries who shared much of the same lives. Cought up in this hell were men who loved their families and much of the same faiths , just from different parts of the globe.
What a fantastic film done the right way and although it's not "real story" it is a beautiful film none the less.
