dvd

Today I went to Wal-Mart (no other choice) to pick up Gunners Palace. Today is the 28th, so I figured they would definitely have it, they did have it on their website. So, I get there and they don't have it! The stupid teenage clerk had never even heard of it! Then I thought maybe I will rent it from Blockbuster (never buy new movies from blockbuster, $22 for dvd I can get for around $17, no thanks.) When I get to blockbuster I can't find the movie on the shelf, so I ask the manager and he that I was the second person to ask today about Gunners Palace (at this time it is 11am, they open at 10am.) He said they aren't getting it and he has never heard of it. Why do very few retail chains know about Gunners Palace, I have seen smaller named movies at Blockbuster. I ended up ordering it on Amazon for $17, I can't wait until it gets here!

I was fortunate enough to stumble across a copy of this remarkable documentary for a mere four dollars at a local grocery store.

"We're all part Shatner/And part James Dean/Part Warren Oates/And Steve McQueen"
