Isn't that one of the sickest movie titles you ever heard? Its gotta go up there with texas chainsaw massacre.

I thought it was kind of stupid, but you're probably a fan of slip knot or something so hey, whatever.

LOL, ya I think Gunner Palace sounds very dangerous and menacing too! Although my favourite movie titles are Apocalypse Now, and Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Hehe, I don't know what it is about me and these extinction level event titles.

Gunner is the name of the company of troops and palace comes from them staying at the palace. Wow...

I can't think of too many companies without menacing names. The only exception I can think of is E company of 2/43253rd: the Fluffy Pink Bunnies. Ironically, they are actually an elite airborne fighting force.

Definitely an awesome title, but I'd have to go with Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas, Requiem For A Dream, Manos: The Hands Of Fate, Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, and 21 Grams as far as completely kickass movie titles ( and completely kickass movies, sans Manos ) go.

When it comes to insane movie titles I almost always find myself thinking of some of the truly bizzare B-movie titles out there; stuff like Barn of the Blood Llama or Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death or Rock 'N' Roll Wrestling Women Vs. the Aztec Ape.

Seriously, any title with the words "blood llama" in it automatically wins at life.

The best one is a movie by famed director Sam Peckinpah called "Bring me the Head of Alfredo Garcia", which is actually also the plot of the movie.

Gunner Palace is a good title but it's not original. As someone else had pointed out, "Gunner Palace" is the name of the place where they were filming and is named after that fact that they are gunners living in a former palace of one of Saddam Hussein's sons.
