First of all, how does he have the time to do sessions with ALL those kids. Doesn't he ever have to go to class? At some points, there are 20-25 kids lined up outside the bathroom.

I like this movie, but 90% of it could never actually happen.

I don't care how many doctors he went to, he would NEVER be able to get all those prescriptions. It's hard enough to get things like xanax and ritalin from a doctor as it is, but to get it from multiple sources. He would have to be going to 25 doctors to be able to dole out prescriptions the way he does.

And the student lounge is unrealistic too. No high school would have that, especially without cameras.

for the record
i am prescribed to adderall
i do not have ADD
and it was easy as pie for me to obtain that prescription
i walked in to the doctor and told him i couldnt concentrate in school
he gave me this *beep* survey type thing that i lied on most of it to make him think i couldnt concentrate
and i walked out of there with a 20mg adderall xr scrip

The movie was meant to be a bit exaggerated in many of its points. Yeah, no one would have the time to see a couple hundred kids a day, see 10 doctors, go to classes, and hang with parents.

Correct. Much of the movie played like a dream. Things just played out too perfectly at just the right times.

I mean, the first time that a line of 25 kids formed outside the bathroom a teacher would investigate and the jig would be up.

But it's the tongue-in-cheek over-the-top situations that made the movie fun.

my high school had a student lounge and there were no cameras in it

It's a MOVIE--you know, fiction, story, that kind of thing. It's not a documentary. If you long for realism then watch the Discovery Channel.

Actors do not have a job...they have a blast!

I dunno. Look at the NINE PAGE list of prescriptions Tawny Kitaen had. It's a wonder she's sill alive!!

I don't love her.. She kicked me in the face!!
