a good choice as the love interest in any movie. As a guy, as shallow as this may sound, she just isn't intriguing enough physically. Her character doesn't have to be cast as the a-typical "hot" girl, but there are plenty of cute actresses out there who would suit this type of role much better. Just as her role was in Nick and Nora's Infinite play list. I'm sure many people would disagree but nevertheless, they could have found someone better.

You have chemistry,you have physical attraction and either part will usually only get you so far if things are going to last but finding a person intriguing physically is a big part of it all,especially if you´re a teenage boy like the lead. Well they didn't ask you, did they? A lot of guys find Kat Dennings attractive it isn't all about you. I don't find Zac Efron attractive but they continue to cast him in movies, I don't really complain I know a lot of girls find him attractive so I just move on. Kat and Anton and amazing chemistry and I think they were a believable couple. I also think Kat is gorgeous.

First of all I find it hilarious how personal some people take others opinions. With that being said, it's not about whether or not in real life those two would actually get together or not. And I wasn't thinking about some over the top looking actress like Megan Fox either. More along the lines of like a ...Carey Mulligan. Pretty, but in an everyday, unique sort of way. Movies are about creating the possibility for the viewer to insert themselves into the story, and relate to the characters and feel as they do, etc. So a male viewer should be able to look at the love interest and see for himself what the connection is. Women do it all the time with guy love interests. And they stereotype just as frequently.

Yelchin is gorgeous looking though, nerd or no nerd, he has this perfectly shaped face like a sculpture. Can't say the same about Cera or Kat Denning. Mulligan is very cute and oddly younger looking than Denning.
