Robert Downey Jr Oscar 2008 Best supporting actor!

Robert Downey was great in this film! Probably his 2nd best performance besides chaplin. Anyone agree?

No.

He was good, excellent even, but lets not exaggerate. There were some scenes where he was just blankish.

He's great in every damn movie he's in, so yeah I'd agree with you! He was so intense in this movie, I was cowering in fear. He plays such a great dad, I've no doubt he is one as well. He's a flawless actor, and the fact that he's a damaged human just makes him beyond perfect.

He plays the same douche in every single movie he's in and ruins them - 100% self absorbed and complete grade A a-hole. One of the worst actors out there.

It's interesting to see him these days achieving all that he would have become minus the Drugs.
