This actually looks halfway decent...

In contrast to popular opinion, I actually kinda sorta liked Wolf Quest. In a hokey, new-age kind of way, that is. ~_^ Didn't like how they made the white wolf into Balto's mother, but hey.

- mind you, they're all in Windows Media format only. Anyway, I think the third actually looks okay. And I'm a rabid cheapquel hater, too (I loathe Simba's Pride, for example). Wings of Change looks like it goes back to the old Balto roots - sled dogs, more human involvement, etc... The only thing I'm not looking forward to - judging by the trailer - is that female snow goose character - with the stupid "hair-do" pulled oh-so-trendily to the side of her head. And hopefully that bull moose, doing the 11,453rd parody of Taxi, isn't a major character. Not with a worn-out, unfunny schtick like that.

But anyhoo, since this has no U.S. release date yet, we'll just have to sit back and wait on it. LOL

Anyone think it's ironic that Charlie Fleisher is replacing Bob Hoskins as Boris,seeing how the two were co-stars in Who Framed Roger Rabbit? (The question mark is part of the title)

Fleischer already took over for Boris' voice on the second film. But yeah, that is a bit weird when you think about it. O_o For some reason, I'm always thinking that Boris was voiced by Bob Newhart... heh. I just get my "Bob"s mixed up easily.

Actually, the white wolf was kinf of made into Balto's mother in the first movie as far as I can remember...

not really... i mean i just assumed it was another wolf..

pretty crap if they changed it into the mother.

really enjoyed this one. the art and animation were much better than balto 2. Infact balto 2 is awful compared to either this or balto 1.

Only thing that irked me with this and the second film was the water just doesnt look right, being computer generated.

might go watch the original balto in a mo =)
