The cliche, its only about money.
No one can enjoy the show.
If The X Factor is Simon's puppets then maybe every winners single should be "Bye Bye Bye" by Nsync with the video of the winner doing Nsync's "Bye Bye Bye" or The Wanted single Walks like Rihanna when they did a parody.

Did older talent shows called Opportunity Knocks, New Faces and Stars In Their Eyes get slagged off and if they did was it as bad as Popstars, Pop Idol, American Idol, Fame Academy, Popstars The Rivals, The X Factor, Britain's Got Talent, America's Got Talent and er all the other countries and The Voice, and now coming soon the children's version of The Voice.

No they didn't, however the reason they didn't is because the means to slag them off (as they are now) didn't exist.
