The Show of my childhood!

I think that "Return to Eden" is a wonderful show, I saw it first time when I was 8, and since than it became one of my favorite soap operas. I also would like to get some more information about an actors, especially about a beautiful actress Rebecca Gilling.

I also watched in during 1986, now a DVD box with 22 episodes is out. BUT Without the finally eding that they were shooting later for the series closeure.

I think that is really really bad, in the VHS version that you could rent, the episode that Jilly goes to jail is in, so why not in the DVD box that you can buy now imported version in PAL.

Bad Bad Bad.

I was so happy having the serie in DVD box and got very disapointed when I discovered that the final isn't THERE?

So don't buy the DVD unless it has more episodes.

Maybe you can buy the episode (90minutes) for itself, but not on DVD I have looked, it seems it is only out on VHS.

one of the campiest cheesiest series ever, i never saw the "ending" on brit tv, just the cliffhanger where it looks like Stephanie has killed Jake on the staircase...

hilarious, fun and full of good looking people...I had to wait til 1992 for something similar (Tropical Heat) to come out to have as much fun watching 8)

The final episode on the official DVD boxset is the original run episode and not the re-edited ending. When the show was syndicated the final episode had a few short scenes to tie up most of the main storylines, I have it on DVD courtesy of Granada Plus when they showed it many years ago. For some reason which escapes me the original run final episode is on the official DVD, and not the re-edited one, as to why it wasn't this one, well you're guess is as good as mine!!

I was a big fan of this (not so much the original mini series) but I'm glad to say it is currently being repeated on CBS Drama (Uk Sky channel 149.

The "resolved" finale is dreadful. It looks really shoddy and was badly scripted. To be honest, I preferred the original cliffhanger ending because at least that way the series went out on a high
