I love this show. Is there any chance another station would pick it up?? Mcleods' daughters is rubbish, secret life of us was rubbish, this is classic.

shareI don't know why I disliked it when it first aired, originally in NZ it was on thursday or friday nights about 930 so I guess I was always out.. The ads for it where often quite terrible also, they just made out bruno cam and adam to be complete idiots with no real redeeming features (they would use cliched segments of the plot that were perhaps its downside ie. the bit where bruno goes shopping for tampons and is amazed at how many different types there are). Just typical pub studs or something. But when I watched the repeats that were on recently at 12pm monday it was excellent, once I started watching I didn't miss one episode.
Maybe to increase its audience they could of used alot more indie/rock bands from both Aus and New Zealand? such as dimmer, betchadupa or dallas krane. The reason I say this is it wouldn't hurt ratings, it would only increase them because some viewers may get into it from the type of music, like the OC for example. Can anyone from aussie tell me if there are any similar decent dramas out there at the moment?
I was absolutely gutted to hear that this show was ending. I absolutely loved it (i'm from NZ by the way). Everybody had something to relate to within the characters and storylines. I thought it was far better than The Secret Life of Us, finally a drama i can enjoy.

I really enjoyed this show too and watched it everyweek, i was suprised by its lack of following. It was a shame that it got axed, because quality local tv shows are lacking these days. I could personally relate to many of the situations that cam and bruno were involved in, some of the parallels were frightening :P
I would love for it to come back, and they left the door open to a possible comeback, but it seems unlikely now. Channel Ten would probably do a better job at hyping it up, just as they did with the OC (channel nine had the first season, but pitched it incorrectly) but i doubt channel seven would allow it as they pumped around 7 mill into it.
(the nz chic was really annoying!!)
